off-grid retreat

This project is a study for an off-grid retreat in Portugal, the project explore building in wood and straw bale. The project integrates off-grid high and low technologies such as solar panels, solar water heating, heat exchange, thick walls for passive heating and cooling, biogas for cooking. The goal is to lower the project's energy footprint on the environment.
